Topsail beach is one of Capt. Trev’s favorite fisheries to share and you will surely feel the same once you experience the fun fishing this area has to offer. To the North, Topsail beach offers the New River Inlet which much like the Cape Fear River Fishery is a unique estuary that is teaming with fish! Drifting for Flounder using live bait and chasing Red Fish are very productive in the New River Inlet. As we fish South the water gets clearer and clearer due to the influence of the South Topsail Inlet and Lea beach’s Richies Inlet. Topsail Fishing has been a favorite of Capt. Trevor’s for many years due to the sheer number of fish in the productive fishing grounds of the Topsail beach area.

Your Nearshore Fishing options are similar to that of Wrightsville Beach as the offshore waters of the Topsail beach area are covered in shipwrecks and ledges giving us unlimited species to target for the day! We will troll for King Mackerel, Sailfish and Mahi Mahi using live baits on the 15 mile ledges and troll near the beach for the plentiful schools Spanish Mackerel, Atlantic Bonito and Bluefish. Bottom fishing Topsail beach will produce Black Sea Bass, Flounder, Grouper, Snapper, Cobia, Amberjacks and a myriad of other bottom fish!
